Complete Beetle Mounting Kit with Insect Spreading Board
Everything you need to start pinning beetles! Includes
- A polyethylene high-density foam pinning board 7” X 5” X 2” (much better and easier to use than the styrofoam or loose cell foam boards generally included in kits),
- 30 entomology pinning needles (Size 4 for beetles ),
- One 5 1⁄2" X 4 1⁄4”vellum paper,
- Four foam wing spacers
- Ribbed tip entomology tweezers
- 1 REAL beetle (BIG!).
When you buy this kit you'll also receive access to the video and description for detailed pinning/spreading instructions.
NOTE: beetle included may differ from photos, will be randomly selected species.
Great for entomology students, collectors, hobbyists, and insect artists.
These boards are also made right here in the USA, and unlike other foam, use a 0% ozone depletion process :) Board and risers may vary in coloration from photos.
Items not included:
- A heatproof container to hold boiling water to hydrate your beetle
- Paper towels

Orders will ship within 3-5 business days from the USA and we ship only within the domestic USA.
Please note that because of their fragile nature we cannot guarantee antennae will still be intact.
Shipping times may differ during high intensity shopping periods, such as Black Friday and end of year holidays.
Refund Policy
We want all our customers to be satisfied with our products. If you experience any problems within 14 days of receiving your item let us know and we will refund, replace, or exchange your item. Items must be returned in original condition. Please note that because of their fragile nature we cannot guarantee antennae will still be intact.
